Business Officers

The Business Officers take care of the overall business of the non profit.

Mark Jacobs

Mark’s unwavering commitment to the fire service is truly inspiring. Serving as president for the past four years while prioritizing the department’s long-term strength shows a rare blend of leadership and foresight. Ensuring that future generations inherit a robust, ready team isn’t just about equipment or training—it’s about building a culture of resilience and trust that outlasts any single emergency.

Gene Moreland

Vice President

Gene’s bold step into the Vice President role last year is a masterstroke of succession planning—learning directly from Mark, one of the all-time greats in nonprofit leadership. It’s clear Gene isn’t just shadowing; he’s absorbing the blueprint for excellence, from strategic fundraising to team motivation, all while keeping the fire department’s mission burning bright. With Mark’s January handover, Gene is primed to hit the ground running, carrying forward that legacy of capability and community trust into the next chapter.

Sarah Stauss

Sarah’s steady tenure as Treasurer for the past four years keeps the nonprofit’s finances in check—especially as Eric’s wife, she’s got that personal connection to the team. She handles the books with reliable efficiency, making sure funds flow smoothly to support the fire department’s basic needs.

Michelle Snell

Michelle’s heroic leap into the Secretary role just one year ago—right when the team needed her most—proves she’s the ultimate clutch player! Stepping up without hesitation, she’s been the organizational wizard keeping every meeting, minute, and mission detail airtight. Her fresh energy and selfless “yes” have been a game-changer, ensuring the nonprofit runs like a well-oiled fire engine, ready for any call.
